When to Visit
The Masai Mara Throughout the Year
Climate: Days are warm (25-27°C), while nights are cool (12-15°C). Pack warm layers for early morning drives.
Great Migration: June to October is the driest period and the peak season for the migration crossings.
Even outside migration season, resident leopard, lion, cheetah and elephant ensure exceptional game viewing throughout the year. The Long Rains fall between March and May (peaking in April), and the Short Rains between November and December.
