Tsavo East National Park covers approximately 40% of all land owned by Kenya's national parks system, making it one of the world's great biodiversity strongholds. Vast red-dust plains, dramatic terrain and an extraordinary density of wildlife have made Tsavo one of the country's most celebrated safari destinations, drawing guests who come in search of an authentic, unhurried wilderness experience far from the beaten track.

At the heart of this landscape sits the Aruba Dam, a permanent water source that draws elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos and an extraordinary variety of birdlife to its banks throughout the year. Ashnil Aruba Lodge overlooks the dam directly, offering guests a front-row seat to one of nature's most captivating spectacles without ever leaving the property.

Every meal at Ashnil Aruba Lodge is made more memorable by one of the most captivating dining settings in Kenya. The restaurant overlooks the Aruba Dam, where elephant herds, buffalo and a remarkable variety of wildlife frequently appear at the water's edge while guests are dining.

The buffet offers a broad and varied selection of oriental, international and local Kenyan cuisines, thoughtfully prepared to satisfy every palate. The open-air bar provides a relaxed space to unwind with a drink whilst watching the dam and its ever-changing cast of wildlife visitors.

For a more intimate experience, private bush dining can be arranged at a secluded location within the park on request.
